.- When Zidane was first found by Baku, he didn't talk much. While he did have the ability to develop complex emotions unlike the other Genomes (as stated in the Ultimania), his emotions were pretty subdued for a child - simply because he had been surrounded by emotionless Genomes. He was, however, a very curious child and, like a lot of children, copied the actions of others around him (at one point, trying to mimic Baku's laugh, which the other Tantalus members found pretty funny. Baku not so much). But eventually Zidane had developed his own lively personality by the age of six or so - being cheeky and rebellious, etc.
- Does not like bananas. In case people want to make monkey banana jokes at him (he'll just roll his eyes at those ones).
- He likes olives and anchovies.
- Zidane taught himself to cook when he ran away from home at the age of thirteen as he had to look after himself. He's pretty terrible at it though and does not have a very big range of recipes.
- Zidane used to have a lot of dreams about finding his birthplace and his parents and would fantasise about what his birthplace and parents would be like. Unfortunately, it took a while for those fantasies to disappear after he discovered his true origins which would suck. Then he would think of Dagger, his Tantalus family and all his friends and feel better. :)
- He's not as good at flirting with girls as he claims (if meeting with the Lowell fangirls says anything). He's had some successes because he's quite a young and attractive man but sometimes his pickup lines can put off women.
- Zidane was home-schooled by Baku. And while he never had a formal education (and I doubt he would know complicated stuff like the inner workings of politics or whatever), he seems pretty well-schooled considering he knows about plays and waltzes.
- He plays a little of the violin but is still only learning it and doesn't take it up as a serious hobby.
- Zidane still flirts with girls after the game end (force of habit). However, his heart is always with Dagger and he does manage to tone down the flirting a little. If he suspects a girl he's hit on actually thinks he wants to date her or go further than flirting, he will backtrack.
- Has tried to open up about his problems with certain people although in some cases he still finds it difficult. The person who generally has the most success at getting Zidane to talk if something is bothering him is Dagger.
- Should he become king/prince consort of Alexandria by marrying Dagger and they have children, Zidane would actually be very happy being the one doing most of the child-raising while Dagger does the running of the country look you don't want him dealing with nobles and tearing a map in half to settle a land dispute, okay?. He likes kids and having to deal with petty noble problems would suck. He'd also teach his children to swing from chandeliers and to call Steiner 'Uncle Rusty'.
- As one of his 'big brother duties', Zidane was bloody insistent on teaching Mikoto how to ride a chocobo.
